if it really only lasts one day then we won't be able to verify if it works for AUs 
the best would be to use the credits to build up a credit at a local supermarket , that way you won't lose anything

Where do you have local supermarkets that let's you build credit open on a M"S?

When did they announce the extension  last year . Before or after the Saturday?

Can one register an Amex gift card and have that credited $25 if used at a small business? 2ndly, if there is a store that has 5 or 6 locations does that constitute a "small business"?
