Author Topic: AmEx Small Business Saturday (Read 589351 times)

$25 gc's x 6 from b&h purchased online. Did not receive confirmation email from Amex. Charges posted Sunday and Monday. One rep (plat!) said I won't get it. Next rep (spg bus.) said he can see the charge processed on the 26th even though posted on 28th. He said don't worry about email confirmation, the system should pick up the charges automatically over the next few days. Just in case, he notated the account.

My wife and I used 13 cards at local establishments. So far we have only received one credit, on a PenFed Amex.

Anyone have issues from charges made at DB Electronics in Lakewood?
I had over a handful of cards swiped there I received the confirmation emails, now I checked my account and it shows Nov, 27!
I received my credits on all of my cards except the ones swiped over there.

It will be one big pain calling up amex and have them adjust all of those cards....we are not talking 5 or 6!!!

Used 10 cards to buy $25 gift cards at the local grocery outlet (SF bay area, CA) and 2 lunches, got confirmation emails for all of them that afternoon, and all the credits came in today. Glad it went without a hitch!

I believe that the date just means when they finished processing, but if the hold was placed on the 26th (which they did as you got the email) you should be safe.

yes i got the confirmation emails

someone else gave money to the same org and she got the credit already. difference is that she swiped her card and i did it online.

never got credit for kosherkouponz. All my eichler charges dont even show up , is that bec the credits offset it?
