I think that for $250+, most people would rather go to a department store and get the full experience, the option to return, guaranteed authenticity, etc... I also think that even though these items have MSRPs in the high hundreds, very few people actually pay that amount. And having a fancy label on the shoe does not make it desirable if the thing is hideous. I've seen some items on this thread that I'm frankly shocked made it out of the factory, let alone from a fancy designed.

I feel like people have friends/family that would buy the normal looking shoes/coats etc.. at a decent price before anyone even offers it on the forums. What got posted here were all the after thoughts, people felt they have to buy something at such a good price.

That’s not such a bargain IMO - or maybe I just don’t want Jimmy Choos or Ferragamo THAT badly...
And no I don’t want to pay $100 for a barely passable pair of shoes...
