Any experience with FOX rent a car in LAX

Hi,

Does anybody have any experience renting from from FOX rent a car in LAX.

I found a rate of $40 dollars cheaper then my other reservation for a 12 day rental.

Dollar/Thrifty $206 for 12 days

FOX $165 for 12 days

Should i go for it?

someone once told me that since they aren't in the airport/airport property etc. they don't charge airport taxes. anyone know if that's true? i've never actually used them before.

I'm looking into a Fox rental rate right now, they swoop everyone else's prices!
Question is what to expect...
Are they solid?

I had no such experience.
Took forever (read an hour) to get a car. But for me definitely worth the savings

Great experience. I rented last thanksgiving. I booked a compact for $12/day and upgraded to a mustang convertible for around $12 more. You have to be friendly and push a little for the upgrade!

got same rate with Budget, went with budget.
As a menchlach thing, took time to call FOX and cancel reservation.

you know my friends, its ok to look for a great deal, we can also be mentchlach about it and make sure noone loses because we found a better deal.

and yes, they dont know who I am, they never saw me, or your shtreimel. but there is a god in this universe, and he does see.
