LTE on Laptops without tethering
« on: July 30, 2019, 09:30:07 PM »
Is there a way for a laptop to access the internet via a SIM card, the same way the Microsoft surface and iPads connect. I am think of adding it to my att unlimited plan for $20 monthly, but the plan is for tablets only looking for a workaround for laptops. Using hotspot is a lot more expensive.

There are laptops with cellular chips built in. Not sure about AT&t but with Verizon I'm nearly certain you can activate it as a tablet.

Im referring to laptops that don’t have a cellular option like MacBooks.

Maybe something like this:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07CMBRVJW/

Not sure if it shows up as hotspot.
