I did mean presidents club. UofF has better rates I think. Free 1 way, cheaper in general I'll double check the regular rates...

Update* Just checked and UofF is half the price of USAA
whats the awd for UofF?

Just a heads up it rarely works since it sets off a red flag in their system...

Would they contact you before you show up, or just charge you the going rate at the time you arrive?

If you do not present a Florida State university employee ID they will charge you the going rate plus underage fees if applicable (even if you have Avis preferred where you can normally go straight to your car with this AWD they require you to present an ID each time by the counter.). They will also be extremely rude about it. (I am pretty sure the being rude part is a requirement)

Im not sure at which locations your searching at but at MIA for a full size for a week rental: USAA is $187 pay later and $166 pay now. With UofF its $242. :o . The cheapest I've found ever is right now with AA awd K817167. But you gotta be over 25 8) Pay later: $166 Pay now: $156 add in a $35 coupon MUWA191 and you got yourself a full-size for $120/week pretty sick!

Compare them for a 1 day rental in NYC. It seems in Florida USAA has a much better deal also on week rentals it seems cheaper. I almost never rent for a week and I almost always rent in NYC... Very interesting though...

Does anyone know what the deal is with Avis covering gas for the first 75miles? Is this a new thing how does it work?

A bit OT, just FYI, Most cc's that cover CDW, only cover on vehicles that are 7 passenger or less.
So even if the 15 passenger is cheaper then a mini-van, you'll get killed on the insurance costs.

His idea was to take it straight to an airport to exchange it (I think)... But you did make a very true point, I actually don't know any cc's that cover 15P's

Missed that part.

I believe amex premier CDW (costs $25) covers 15 pass.
