How do I book using the Daily Getaways coupons if I would like to be covered by my credit card insurance? I remember something about reserving as i normally would and adding the code of the Daily Getaway coupon in the notes, or something like that.
Could someone elaborate please?

Have used it several times from LGA and EWR. Note that there are day of the week and advance booking requirements. The rate includes gas, so make sure that they don't charge you for not refilling the tank. I had to haggle with the Atlantic Ave. location in BKLYN over that in the past.

I rented a car with Avis that I prepaid with Priceline and they offered me a car which I didn't like and haven't had a good experience with so I asked for a different one.
Apparently they upgraded me and charged me an extra $200 for the week, I signed the contract without realizing there was an added $20 a day.
When I signed I I thought I was declining the insurance coverage and bringing back car full etc I feel was deceived the rep never said anything about price difference and would have never agreed to pay an extra $20 a day for the rental which lasted 7 days.
I'm having no luck so far getting them to reverse the charges, I have been speaking to one rep after another at Avis headquarters and to no avail...
At the branch no one answers, anyone have any suggestions for me?

I know with Hertz they sometimes have "back door numbers" to the bigger locations, try calling roadside and ask them if they can patch you through or if they can give you the number, they usually have the best list of numbers.

Thanks I hope this works if not will disputing with amex put me at risk with being banned for life? and will a dispute most likely go through?

Quite possibly will end you up on the DNR, I don't know how long they put you on for though...

Don't know about the dispute, at the end of the day you signed for it but Avis doesn't always follow through with disputes
