IMHO updating the wiki, wouldn't be the best idea since some of those deals [e.g. the current AA 5K etc.] are set to expire. so its gonna have to he constantly updated which is easier on a thread then on wiki.
besides it looks like we can't really get the peep to update/view the wiki, as frequent as viewing the forums

Actually a wiki would be ideal for corp codes and coupons with exp dates. If there was useful info there people would go there.

I would definitely update there. but maybe first lets open a thread like that to see the stuff coming in, then we can draw peoples attention to the wiki.
that way itl have a much stronger affect not only on this issue but also in using the wiki in general.IMHO

When using USAA, AA (and im sure others) and no awd #, Avis.com gives you the option of Paying Now and saving of up to 30% off in addition to other discounts, although the best I've seen was 15%. I have some tips that I picked up after working with it for a while.
A: You only get the pay now option if you reserve more than 6 hours in advance.
B: If you have a coupon on the rental, you will receive a credit back from avis some time after the rental as when you reserve the car your cc gets charged the full amount and only after you return the car the system registers that you paid too much and you get it back as a credit.
C: If you need to cancel the reservation, if its 6 hours prior then you will get back the amount back less $25. If its within 6 hours you get charged a no show fee of $100. The $25 is usually easy to get off by calling cs and if its within 6 hours, I was thinking you could change the pickup time for later than 6 hours then cancel although I've never personally tried that.
D: It does get difficult to change something ( like awd) once you get the counter as its prepaid; although that would depend on the IQ level of the agent helping you.
E: This rule applies to any reservation: If you reserve using a preferred account, anytime during the day of rental the airport will "check you" into a car. Which basically means their assigning you a car. Once that happens, you cannot modify the reservation online as technically you checked out the car. I once reserved a car at the airport and I ended up renting from a local avis and the system would not allow the rep to rent me a car until she called and had the airport take me out of the car that they put me in there...

Is there a place where you enter how many coupons? Or do you just enter the code and however many you present, they deduct off the total?

Any good coupons for one day rental with Avis on way? Trying to rent from Aventura Mall to PBI one way Sept 23-24 and From PBI to Aventura Mall Oct 3-4 trying to get a full size for <$35 a day.

Sorry couldnt find this answer. Im renting with avis in israel and was planning on using my Saphire Preferred card for insurance and they tell me i need to take Liability insurance which is like 50 shekel a day. Does anyone have experience is there a way out of paying this?

Nope, you have to pay it. Mastercard world only gets you out of cdw.
Next time in Israel rent through an agent, no surprises

One more question does anyone know what the policie for Parking tickets for Avis in Israel. Should i pay them before i leave? Do they deal with it at a cheaper rate? do they charge a surcharge if i just leave them? TIA

I never paid them and avis never charged me. But then again YMMV
