Best Domestic First Class
« on: August 02, 2019, 11:12:44 AM »
I was offered two first class tickets anywhere in the US. I am based in NYC and can choose between Delta, AA or United.

I was thinking of flying to LA or Vegas and I was wondering which of these 3 airlines has the best first class experience, including at the airport and in-flight.

Also, do any of these first classes offer a proper kosher meal in flight or at the lounges? I am not talking about the stuff they offer in Economy.

Thank you in advance!

Assuming Hawaii is a no-go, AA first class to LAX or SFO.

Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

There is no Polaris in the US

It's valid only in the contiguous 48 states. I wish Hawaii.

You could fly AA F JFK-LAX/SFO and then use miles to HI.

not a bad idea. i would even consider shabbos in LA and then continue on. A) it breaks up a long flight. B) if your Rov doesn't like hawaii for shabbos this would maximize your time there

Bottom line you are all saying AA first class is the best one compared to Delta and United for flying to LA?

Do any of these 3 airlines offer a better kosher experience in-flight or at the first class lounges?

No other airline flies true first class domestically, so there's no competition.

They just told me that the first class Delta or United flights would have to be a Z class and the AA a U class. Does that mean anything?

From a knowledgeable ta who's shy:

1. u can find certain flights with Polaris ewr-lax
2. AA first to lax or SFO is great but not for a couple who wants to talk.
3. Miami AA 777 is the best but flight is too short. They have it also random other repositioning routes I think.
4. delta A330 JFK-LAX is also good if available.

So I'd probably say DL on the 757 or mint to San Diego or Vegas if it's for a vacation.
There's also DL 757 to SEA

AA F  JFK to LAX and SFO is amazing. 1-1 reverse herringbone lie flat. Meal will be borenstein. You get lounge access as well. Even their J, which is 2-2, is better than anything you will get flying to LAS.

Thank you. Would AA's First class to LAX or SFO fall under the U class?

Does Delta also offer the same Borenstein in their first class?

dont spend too much focus on the meal
aint gonna be worth much
AA F is 5 rows of 2, 1 by each window so as mentioned above thread, if your traveling with someone, not the best choice. J is better
