Uber Eats tries to get you with the low delivery fee, then they add on the "service fee" once you finalize your order, which greatly increases the cost of delivery. I guess they think people will be teased by the low fee and miss the service fee. Sort of like a resort fee not being including when you book a hotel room...

Some restaurants are free if you share a delivery person with another order. Others are even higher than $6.49 so this could be a good deal.
