I just sent them a SM as follows:
Hi, I opened a checking account with chase on 05/22/2012, and was promised to get additional 10 points per purchase and 10percent for every transaction, but I didn t start getting the rewards until a few days ago, I would appreciate of you can adjust the points balanace to reflect the true date of when I opened the checking account.

After a few minutes I got this disappointing answer:
Dear ###### ######,
I am writing in response to your email about the Freedom
Exclusive rewards program.
I would like to inform you that, once a checking account
and a credit card is established with Chase, it takes upto
three billing cycles for the enhanced rewards program to
set up on the account.
I regret that, the points earned are not retroactive,
hence, we are unable to make any adjustments to the
points.
If you have any further questions, please reply using the
