Wait.
Is it worth sending a SM asking to be credited the missing points? Or should I wait and then send it?

Wait until the first time you get a statement that has the bonus on it.  After that you can send an SM to attempt to be credited the "missing" points.  I put that in quotes because they're not obligated to give you those points, although several people (including myself) have reported being able to get them....and it appears that different reps follow different rules.

Do the Chase Exclusives bonuses work retroactively?
I have the CC's but I don't bank with Chase.
I am planning on opening an account with them this week though.
Once my Chase Exclusives get activated, will I get bonuses for all PAST CC spend? Or only from then on?

Officially no.  However, after Exclusives are added to your account, you can SM them to ask for the points you otherwise would have received if Exclusives were added to your account on the first day of having both the proper CC and checking account.  It's a big YMMV though and there's a thread around here somewhere discussing it.

You sure do start a lot of threads.

You should start a thread asking people if they have a problem with it.

Dan might as it's against the rules.
Quote
-Perform a search prior to posting a new thread to see if it's already being discussed.
-Start a new thread when bringing up a new issue, don't start a new topic in an existing thread.

In your case, some of your new threads are discussed (with satisfactory answers) elsewhere.  Searching & reading would have given you an answer without having to start a new thread.

Others might have a problem with it too.  It might not be so obvious as Shmelly made it, but if in the future you wonder why it takes days to get an answer to one of your questions instead of the minutes/hours it takes for others to get answers....

And yeah. It clutters everything up. This could have gone in the Exclusives thread for example.

I always search before posting, and this case was not different.
Please show me where my questions have been answered.
I didn't even see an exclusives thread.

Search box in upper right hand corner.  Type in "Exclusives".  On the first page of results you'll find this thread:

Exclusives showed up on my 2nd statement and I sent a SM asking for retroactive credit (which would have been about 1000 to1500 points) but they said no retroactive credit but they gave me 2,500 courtesy bonus!
I'd much rather that!

Hi, are all you folks getting chase 10-10 exclusives with an existing Freedom card? Been going through a runaround today with Chase and the rep at the branch finally told me I need a 10-10 Freedom Card and that they cannot link my existing freedom card.

The rep when I called the number on the card was cool and told me sure it can be linked, but I have to go to the branch.
Branch rep was like what are you talking about and kept telling me about the 5% catagories LOL finally he made a call to someone and they told him and he told me that no can change the card I needed to appy for the 10-10.

Thanks
S

How long have you had a Freedom card and a checking account for?
Did you SM yet?
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

I once had something like that but in the end it came by itself.

same here csr say u need the branch to "apply" it, thje branch says u need to apply for the exclusive card.

If you have a freedom, and checking account it shpould go automatic in 2 mounts.
