Specifically in this case (even more so than in Clinton's case) the impeachment vote was entirely partisan. Which leads me to believe that any of the members of congress who tell you they were voting on the evidence are full of crap.
So in the Clinton case you could have told me how everyone was going to vote? ROFLMAO!
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Of course everyone has biases. They has nothing to do with being impartial.

Oh well, I guess we're just gonna have to agree to disagree on what the meaning of is is

To be fair, I don't think Meterologists lie as much as they misinterpret.

That does not equal no one was impartial.

Or we could state what impartial means.

The country back then wasn't nearly as divided as it is now, so it would've harder to predict, but at the same time, the vote was almost entirely on party lines (with the exception of the absuse of power article, where about 40% of republicans voted no in congress)

Which no one can truly do based on (at least) subconscious biases, even if they *think* they are.

In the context of impeachment of a political player by a political body impartial would mean doing the best one can.

It is important to note that the impeachment trial as described in the constitution was not decided by elected officials since at the time senators were not directly elected. That would have removed much of the inherent political bias in the process.

I'm not a doctor, but to my knowledge that is a widely accepted opinion. Even if the addict is clean for decades (I personally know if one such case)

this is correct when they only cover the symptom (abstain from drinkiing etc.) instead of solving the underlying problem that caused it.

Lol. Accepted medical opinion vs CV's anecdotal evidence? I'll never know what to believe!

Like I said I'm not a doctor, so I'm not going to argue this any more, but if I had to pick between anonymous posters on DDF and established medical opinion, I think the choice is clearly to go with mikvah hock.

Do a little research. Established medical opinion is the percentage is so small they don't even try.
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

It's already Friday in Davos, so out of there we got this:

https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2020-01-24/goldman-rule-adds-to-death-knell-of-the-all-white-male-board

Is it justified to force diversity upon commercial entities?
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
