How about this one. Child goes to school with bruises. Teacher/counselor asks him what happened. He says his dad hit him. Do they report it to the state authorities (police/DCFS)?

Blasphemy! After spending the entire day of Yom Kippur in shul praying, you think we take the next couple of days off ? Bright & early the next day it’s right back to shul for morning prayers.
So much power to Amazon. First Black Friday in July. Now Good Friday in July. Next thing will be everyday is Friday. (Though for Jews, we actually expect it to be every day is Shabbos - ליום שכולו שבת)
