probably because ורפא ירפא is permission  for the doctor to heal , as opposed to making a person that cant get sick.
but then again i dont know what OP was referring to when he said gene editing

@Dan writes here in detail what he did, however  I cant locate the smart home/away sensor?
is it a setting or a extra device that comes with the full version that I don't have?

You will be able to change your Smart Home/Away settings once you have a room sensor paired with your ecobee thermostat

Yes I was referring to medical type of stuff. Although I guess that can be a concern of "designer babies".

I always see random people comparing it to eugenics (which that itself I don't understand what the big deal is) in a negative way.

And eugenics. Those people are afraid it will be used for racial and ethnic purposes and consider that to be an ethical issue.
