Satmar, like the rest of chassidic schools, do have secular studies in the afternoon.

First and chief language for chassidim generally is Yiddish. English is spoken as well, predominantly by the girls. To what extent and age, YMMV.

Never been either, but from the sounds of things when you dig into it, what people outside of Williamsburg* like about it is not the food but the nostalgia.

Correct. They pride on making heimish Hungarian style food, not cheap fast food, which is true but nothing high end at all. It draws much more outsiders than locals. Locals have heimish food for dinner every night.

The smaller schools that my kids (boys and girls) attend make use of Yiddish front and center.
