Need to physically check in at Hyatt?

Can I make a points reservation, use mobile check in without physically visiting the hotel, and come away with credit for a night?

I'm looking at a couple hotels where I could get a night for < 4000 points, after current promos/rebates, and would benefit me with status through 2020 and an additional free night for staying at 5 Hyatt brands. 

I could physically go to the hotels to check-in but it would be more convenient if I could skip that.

Anyone know?
