Israeli Government convening for emergency meeting to approve a final deal for the release of Gilad Shalit.

There are rumors he's mother Aviva Shalit is a Ger by a Reform Rabbi - anyone know anything about that?

They ought to just kill them upon reception, perhaps use their bodies as bait --exactly what they do to us.

its the one thing the US has succeeded at is driving home the policy of no negotiations with terrorists and who knows if thus has helped or not but there are a lot less cases of US soldiers being specifically kidnapped afaik
