All the more reason why he wouldnt want it happening to others. (Perhaps not now but in ideal)

If you watch Netanyahu speech tonight. He stated clearly that he made Hezbollah give him video evidence that shalit is alive before he signed the deal.

Henche doesn't want to take a stance on the wisdom of the deal. It is too personal.
So henche is just happy he is coming home. And a bit scared about the price. And no opinion.

R' Elyashiv was for the deal even before they announced that "The Big Four" were not included in it. Kol Hakavod to Bibi and let's hope that this gets done ASAP

I don't know what goes on the behind the scenes, so I cannot judge. It does seem an exaggerated price to pay...

The positive lesson is to see how much Israel values the life of its people.

Only they know what efforts went into catching those filth, and the work to deal with once they are released....

Unfortunatly today every godal can be mislead. He could have been asked: is it ok to release a few arabs for shalit. Who knows what he has been told. So i dont buy this even raw eliyashiv agreed. The guy who planned the sbarro bombing is getting released, i know 5 people who got killed there. The guy who killed waxman is getting released. Every arab, will not be afraid to do things in the future, as worst case, they get swapped. Besides for begging hamas to do it again. If you look through the list of names, its a sad day. I am afraid to say, that many lives will be lost because of this swap.

Israel is going crazy about this! Ynet thankfully seems to be very right wing in this issue covering all who are deeply against this deal. I just hope that Israel has something up their sleeve and are not doing something as dangerous as this seems to be. Perhaps the'll kill all remaining 5000 terrorists; or simply not keep their part of the deal.

Unfortunatly they will go through with it.... A jewish life is very important and they should do all possible to get him back. sometimes you gotta loose one to save others. They saved him today, but will loose alot in the future because of this. Hamas only did it, because Israel proofed with Hizbulla that taking hostages will get them whatever they want... Whats the point of keeping Barghouti, as they will just snatch another soldier and start the game again.

IMHO they should grab him & run. Its not like a terroist organization is an entity that can be a party to this kind of treaty... Would cause a huge anti-israe sentiment though.
