That the siyum has nothing to do with the daf. They’ve watered it down to just being the agudas every seven year event. This time they didn’t even bother making it when the daf finishes.

That’s with the ads that everyone can learn 2 pages of gemara and be part of the siyum. The heck you’re part of it. Learn a daf every day for most of a decade, then you’ll be part of it.

Get the gedolim off the stage. The daf is the baalabatims learning.
