most people never spend any amount of time in the cold while stationary, so they'd have no idea how to prepare.
Fair enough. Hopefully they know now.

Not trying to compare at all. Point was that with proper layering you can be warm in any temperature, so if you were cold that just means you didn't have proper layering for the temperature.
If the forecasts were wrong, that's another story.
I would have been better off in sweatpants, but I didn't think that was befitting the event. My dress pants don't fit over my sweatpants so I did the best I could (thermals and wool pants).

Try 2 layers of thermals next time?
I used lightweight and midweight thermals under my pants: https://www.dansdeals.com/points-travel/trip-notes/antarctica-trip-notes-part-4-packing-list-journey-south-southernmost-shabbos/

Same for layers of socks, shirts, gloves, etc.

BTW Tisch said he built it for the Siyum...  ;)
(and for those following the daf see A"Z 2b)
Wasn't a Tisch that said that. It was the president of the Tisch family company.

I wore my regular suit, a bulky heavy Costco Sweater under my jacket, a heavy wool winter coat and heavy winter gloves with toe warmers and hand warmers. 5 hours in the same place took a toll.

The stationary is what does it. I don't wear coats, and didn't bring one to the siyum. I've walked 2 miles in below freezing temperatures in Chicago, and it didn't bother me. I remember spending a lot of time outdoors in -40 real feel in just my everyday clothes. Moving even slightly makes a world of a difference for keeping warm. Fingers, ears, toes, and nose are a different story. As long as I got those covered, and I'm not stationary, I'm fine.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

What?!? Where? Why wasn't is publicized? :'( I wouldn't have left if I was able to properly warm up

Came in through the MetLife gate and went up to 100 section concourse before taking an escalator up to the 200 section where our groups's seats were.

When we were walking on the 1st floor concourse to the escalator to the 200 section we passed an area (store/bar) which had big signs on it that said warming station.

I'll keep that in mind for the Siyum in 15 years from now.  ;D Only have to worry about rain and extreme heat for the next one.

There was a large warming tent at the ground level when exiting via the stairs near 315. At 315 itself there was a warming room. The bathrooms were warm but smelled awful. Even the concourses were warmer than the actual stadium.

Why would that be? The owners of those stands did not want to profit off the kosher crowd?

One thing I did see was that the one which was open had an added "heimishe" hechsher for the event. Maybe the others did not want to comply with that?
I don't how the agreements work out but all the food was catered by Schick u der R' Eckstein

There was no concern that Mr Schottenstein was going to ad-lib kaddish. There was concern about what Rav Schechter Shlita would say that might upset the more chareidi public.

There's what I would do vs. What it's realistic to except at a charedi event. I had no issue with no women speakers or zionism. But thdy could have just spoken to all learners regardless of gender as opposed to repeatedly singling out the wives, when many of the women there were teens/students or women who learn in their own right.

Also a Rav who happens to be the Rav of a young Israel or Rosh Yeshiva at YU certainly is on the level to speak. If Jay Schottenstein is honored to say Kaddish, surely Rav Schechter or the like should be invited to speak.
You keep on complaining why they didn't talk about the women who learn Torah themselves.

I would suggest you to start with this inclusive concept yourself.

From now on, Next time you say Kriyas Shema, Instead of just saying "ולמדתם אותם את בניכם", rather say "ולמדתם אותם את בניכם ובנותיכם".

From there move on to Tfilin etc, It's 2020 now, time for gender equality!

Whatever your opinion is on women's learning, do you really not get why they don't do this?

Rambam hilchos Talmud Torah 1:13.

Considering the Beis Yaakov movement teaches Written Torah and Halacha, one could assume that the Moetzes is fine with the tiflus concern.

Seriously?

are you unaware of stark hashkafik divide between YU and the main stream ultra orthodox community?
