Looking for High Airline Miles CC for initial spend
« on: August 20, 2019, 04:30:53 PM »
Hello,
I purposely have a high # of large expenses stacked in the last quarter of each year (annual car insurance for 4 vehicles, annual homeowners insurance, annual property tax, annual life insurance, etc.)

I want to maximize these payments to capture as large airline miles as possible.
One World or Star Alliance is fine.  We use these miles for annual family vacation! :)

I have the Barclays 50K for any 1st purchase + $99 annual fee but there's gotta be something better than that...
The Chase 5/24 rule is not an issue with me.
Thanks!
(and, if anyone needs passes to famous Hollywood Magic Castle, let me know!)

Chase business cards to get ultimate rewards points and stay under 5/24. Ink preferred

80k/$5k, ink cash 50k/$3k, business unlimited 50k / $3k. UR points transfer to multiple airlines

Chase United Biz 50k/$3k and another 50k/$25k total annual spend

Citibiz AA card 75k / $5k, citi personal platinum 65k/$3k..can buy codes for these if you can't find a flyer.

how much $ are you talking about? 3k? 10? 30k? Makes a big difference!
Also, looking for consumer or business cards?

If your'e looking for star alliance united card is worth considering for the extra award availability and free bags on united. There's a united consumer offer with 40k bonus miles here's Dan's post on the united biz card https://www.dansdeals.com/credit-cards/earn-100000-miles-awesome-united-explorer-business-card/

I'd first look at all 3 chase UR biz cards and maybe the Chase sapphire preffered if you're eligible
