https://www.chase.com/digital/digital-payments/chase-pay/chasepaynews says that the Chase Pay app is closing. What's interesting is that they say if you have any gift card you can convert the value to Ultimate Rewards points. Does that mean if you have Chase Sapphire Reserve card, you can get a gift card for say $10 and then convert that to Ultimate Rewards and get $15 worth of points?
