I have a 7 night bonvoy certificate which expires this week. Since it has been extended a year ago they are unwilling to extended again, only to give me 5000 points for it. Any suggestions?

was looking at a Ritz yesterday 3 nights was 150k now its 180k wonder what changed overnight.. LOL

Not always transparent. A "standard room" and a "city room" could be the same, other than thst standard doesn't guarantee a specific view, even if "city" is the lowest view. Hotels play inventory games.

Same room ans not upgrade with points.
Difference is only peak and off peak my question is what happened overnight that it changed to peak

Anyone realize Marriott is in peak season, many points hotels I checked price out, at peak or mid level pricing,  while cash rates are the lowest I have seen?

I had a reservation at the Ritz in Herzeliya for June. I book it with a Reward Category 6 before it went up. They just cancelled the booking and now its a category 7. I contacted Bonvoy to explain I should be able to rebook another stay with the same certificate. They basically told me "too bad". Anyone have any ideas?

I was platinum elite until recently (I believe its from he ritz card i still have)I checked my account recently now it says I am gold elite ,why is that?

your status changes at the end of March when status resets every year, Platinum doesnt last forever you need to keep renewing it by staying 50 nights a year or spending a certain amount on the Ritz card.....
