I would be in major tzar from eating in a dumpster, but I very much enjoyed our lebidig rainy meal.
Why is that disturbing?

The style of writing, "hope you..." doesn't sit well by me, some sort of personal attack.

Whether or not you'd enjoy a sukka in a dumpster, that doesn't patter you from your chiyuv, there is a difference between a bad sukka and eating in a sukka that you are putter from.

You have to understand, the chavivus hamitzva and hiskashrus make them not even realize they are in the dumpster!

And they only realize the reason because the gemara tells them to be in pain by it.

Do you have any sources/explanations? I have never figured this one out, and stay in the sukkah to have something that would justify a leishev basukkah lechol hadeios.
a rav once told me that he heard Baal peh the reason is that the chiyuv havdala makes it a kevius but he never saw it brought down

Just noticed Avraham fried’s hat is not smashed. Does that mean he is not 100% Chabad?

Have you heard his Yiddish pronunciation?

Where else (in which other Yeshiva) would such a sign be hung and endure?

I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

TBH I'm a little embarrassed to be affiliated with these signs.

I’m glad to hear you’re affiliated. Just buy (and consume) a few bottles and all embarrassment will go away.

You honestly believe that that is a good thing?

It is a practice encouraged by most of the chabad yeshivas, so I'm not at all surprised he thinks it's a positive thing.

Is that so?

You seem to be very confident in your knowledge of how Chabad yeshivas run.
How many have you stepped foot into? How many are you familiar with?

You are obviously a יודע מחשבות, as I didn't say whether I thought it is good or bad. Usually when I post on this thread, unless it's in response to someone, it is in the spirit of the first page of this thread.

The above notwithstanding, you seem to be totally ignorant of context. If it were a sign by any individual offering bottles of Vodka for $25 to students, I don't think it would stay up very long in 770 either. But this is a sign put up by Ato"h and is addressed to תמימים, so it's probably nothing that you're familiar with. I would guess that if you would knock on Atoh's door in 770 asking to buy a bottle of Smirnoff, you would be turned away (nothing personal against you, they are just not operating a liquor store).

OTOH, our dear friend CBC seem to have been to at least most Chabad yeshivos, in order to make his assertion. So I'm sure he can appreciate what a תמים is.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!
