One perspective that I don’t think anyone is considering is that if the girls are getting married at 19-20 and the boys at 23, one is already providing 3 years of support for his boys. Is it so crazy to support one’s daughter for the same? Boys can easily cost 1500 a month in that age bracket between tuition, airfare to Israel, extra auto insurance, clothes and extras.

This is far from standard. Plenty of parents pay for OOT living expenses, semicha programs, airfare, and more post shlichus.

If your learning in 770 , your expenses are rent and some food.

770 may charge a little for food but there's no tuition for Americans

For 1 year.  Not usually for more.
Starting age 20, there's shlichus year - where he works - in learning - and learns in a high school. Paid for by the high school.
Then semicha year - the price varies by program.
Then 770 or other job/learning setup the bochur arranges.

I guess davenning times are like every other chumra - anyone slower than me is kratzing, anyone quicker can't possibly be davenning properly.

Just based on what I perceive the average is in ch, the vast majority are kratzing according to this.

They've duplicated Kratz beyond 770? Oh boy, are we in trouble.
