So @jj1000 should have been more specific that there's singing at Hebrew Academies and Synagogues. But most people on DDF that don't daven in a Chabad minyan don't sing during אבינו מלכנו.

I would venture a guess that this is correct. Never heard of anyone singing by AM.

I don't know how to. And I don't see any need.

While I live in a bubble, and have probably been to less shuls than you have been to, I am a real first generation צוגעקומענער, so I have some knowledge of what goes on outside my bubble. I didn't find out in recent years on DDF that in many places (Yeshivish?) they make kiddush before תקיעות.

I am sure @Something Fishy has been to more shuls than I have, and he says he never heard of singing any part of אבינו מלכנו.

Just because people don't sing it during davening doesn't mean they don't know the tune. We don't sing that AM but we do use the tune for hayom haras olam

Take a survey of people from Lakewood, Williamsburg, Monsey, KJ, JLM, RBS, BB, etc. Is singing (any line out of אבינו מלכנו) a common practice?

Never seen it. Not in the shul I grew up in in flatbush, not in yeshiva in the us, not in the mir (main minyan - but i seriously doubt any other mir minyan sings it)

In Mir we just say all of them (w/o waiting for the chazan for any line) and when done the chazan goes straight into kaddish - no repition of the final AM -  EXCEPT for neilah when it is all said line by line - as do many israeli minyanim that Duchan before shkiya and need to avoid finishing before the end of the taanis.
