The overwhelming majority of Chabad shuls.

Totally dependent on who the chazan is, no? Aside from the niggunim like AM, or classics like Yaaleh, there are no rules for what gets sung and what tunes are used.

I wouldn't know. In the 38+ years since I came, I never davened anywhere but in 770 on ימים נוראים.

If the crowd is fanatical enough they tend to protest non-Chabad niggunim (has happened in 770, but definitely slips by more and more nowadays).
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I wasn't paying much attention to the details for reasons I will not discuss in this public forum. Let's just say that the Chazzan for Mussaf on the second day was unbelievable, and was heard in the entire shul.

But as I said, in recent years there's more instances of non-Chabad niggunim slipping by.

I think you'll find that it only became a "thing" in relatively recent years and in the old days it was done without second thought. Some of the songs people think of as niggunim are borrowed tunes. HaRabbi Shlita is a TV show theme song for goodness sake.

Famous machlokes between Reb Ahron and Rav Heinkin.

The reason to davka make kiddush is so not to fast past chatzos on Yom Tov if I recall correctly.

It's all about the journey the tune took on its way to get adopted.
