Interesting that none of the earlier chabad rebbes seemed to go with the taanug ruchni svara.

Also not sure if the quote "taanug ruchni" is mentioned anywhere in chabad texts. Afaik it's just a lack of tzar

Question for the AALA thread. Is it his invention to call "St.", Simcha or is this a thing? I like that idea.

It's a thing not to spell out the S. (Including when speaking). The "Simcha" is not his invention, but is unique to Simcha Monica.

Iinm it's his (father's) invention. It popped into his mind as he was standing in front of the Rebbe.
