Also in Chabad they say regular pesukai dzimra today, everyone else says yom tov. and they don't say hoshanos on Shabbos. just adding to the pros and cons list.

Hosha'anos takes seven times as long, we have a סעודה and we were up all night last night reading חומש דברים and saying תהילים.
As far as clothing, don't we wear בגדי שבת ויו''ט throughout the whole חול המועד?
