What are the top Credit Cards to apply for now for Hotel awards?

that is put in a crappy order how can u put 50k hilton before two free nights with hyatt card or the spg card

With hyatt card u get platinum passport right? What does that get me? Is there yearly fee for hyatt card?

Does anyone know if it's still possible to get Hyatt Diamond status (free trial or any other way besides accruing the stays)? I tried using the Visa Signature link to sign up for HHonors Gold and would then ask Hyatt to match but the application didn't go through online and I called up HHonors and they said it expired so they couldn't give it to me.

Any advice or suggestions would be appreciated!

HH Surpass Card ($75/yr) gives you HH Gold for the first year. That will get you a trial match to Hyatt Diamond.
