Marriott Transfer Points to United with 10% bonus
« on: September 04, 2019, 03:50:33 PM »

Just saw an email from Bonvoy about being able to transfer Bonvoy points to United or United miles to Bonvoy. Looks like either direction, points/miles transfer at 1:1 but with 10% bonus. Is this worth doing?

Bonvoy to United is 3:1
If it benefits even just one fellow DDFer, its worth posting it.

The best is the bloggers who post about this as if it's new.

What about the bloggers that found about the "brand new" Silvercar rewards program a month after I wrote about it?

That's bad, too. But this is absolutely ridiculous and a sign they should be in a different business. They obviously do a disservice to their readers if they are of that caliber.

Some one is taking some credit!

DDF most likely has the most posts about silvercar so it would only be natrual to be the first reporting the rewards program.

It's about both. Its telling you that you can transfer UA to Bonvoy at 1:1 ratio (which is a bad ratio IMO). Then it as also says you get 10% bonus for the reverse type of transfer of Bonvoy to UA.

Not to a spouse's Marriott account, But to a spouse's external mileage program like United?
