Author Topic: [Targeted] Free American Airlines Gold/Platinum Status (Read 7520 times)

I practically never fly them so they offered me Gold status plus 10 of the 500 milers until 12/13/19. If I meet the following requirements by 12/13 it will extend to 1/31/21.

Keep your status through January 31, 2021, by earning:
$850 Elite Qualifying Dollars (EQDs) and
7,000 Elite Qualifying Miles (EQMs)

Got an offer for Gold with 10 500 miles upgrades through Dec 13. Given that I would be the lowest on the upgrade list is there any practical use from NYC?

Any suggestions for ah + companion? Main issue is that upgrade isnt guaranteed and I would much rather buy award tickets unless theres a very high probability to get upgraded and worth it (ie not mia).

Last time When they offered Platinum Pro I got Alaska MVP 75K status and then got Premier Platinum status challenge from United

I noticed today that registering for the Gold status I was offered counted as activity towards extending my mileage expiration. Previously they were going to expire this November and I was figuring what I'm going to do to extend it because I've really moved away from AA and don't even have any of their cc's anymore. Now I see that the expiration date moved out to March 2021 which is 18 months from now and this happened on the day of my registration.

Oh wow, just noticed that too. Extended 18 months. Was to Expire in January 2020 now March 2021

Simple shop through their store and earn miles or credit any oneworld flight to AA
