Yup, that's how it works. You just login to your altice account, enter your current carrier account details and submit.

In my experience, it took about 5 minutes to receive their completion email and a few minutes for the phone to pickup the change and adjust.

I don't know if anything changed. Even though I got a temp SIM, I gave them my existing number when I signed up.

I chose to get a random number when ordering and figured I would port in later.

Now I'm told the only way to port is during order process...argh.

I got it when it was 20.00 per month. Any idea what to do?

Crazy that they can't port in at anytime.

Try your luck messaging them for a solution. It's really your only option.

Anyone had any luck still getting the $20 price for life?
I need to switch my wife's plan (as of last week) and this seems to be the cheapest option but dont want to pay $30 if I could still get the $20 price

Noticed today, roaming on TMobile. Make sure to turn data roaming ON. That's great news.

Port your number to google voice and have it forward to the other number. You can set outgoing to your real number as well.

Or open a new line and port in your number then cancel the old line.

This new roaming on TMO is actually doing more bad than good. Wherever TMO is better it just switches over and datat roaming is OFF by default so it simply stops working, it requires a restart, simply toggling the switch does not help. Anybody else has this issue? I have an S20.

A switch to airplane mode and back should do the same as a restart

My brother has altice mobile and has been complaining about it since the beginning. He says the data speeds are terrible. Anyone else have this issue?

What phone does he have? Maybe its not fully compatible. What service did he used to have ?

Altice uses sprint service and at&t.
If his iPhone 6 used to be from at&t its missing some important sprint frequencies

I can relate. They throttle the speeds even before the 20GB. Not sure if it's a glitch or what. A restart will usually help. Or make sure the 20GB. wasn't exhausted because it's on 2G speeds after 20GB. has been used up.

I'm however overall happy with the phone, it's my secondary phone anyways.

Btw, AT&T roaming does not work in all all places, and it's 2G speeds in AT&T. I was able to roam on AT&T, but not where I live.

yes, im using a unlocked iphone 11 and the data is not good at all

Understood that it’s unlocked. But what was it originally? Which carrier ? Is the phone capable to connect to sprint and AT&T networks ?
Altice works with both and the phone should switch between these 2 networks to the better one in the area where the user is , i would like to hear from someone who has a original altice phone
