I don’t care if he’s going slower. My problem from the beginning has been that he never slowed down as he approached a red light. Don’t know about Chicago but in New York there are safety rules that responders must follow, which he clearly didn’t. Had he followed safety procedures this would never have happened.
You have no way of knowing if he slowed down. The mini-van is still in the intersection. Police car is barley out of the intersection. Conclusion: Neither vehicle was going very fast.
