I don’t care if he’s going slower. My problem from the beginning has been that he never slowed down as he approached a red light. Don’t know about Chicago but in New York there are safety rules that responders must follow, which he clearly didn’t. Had he followed safety procedures this would never have happened.

You have no way of knowing if he slowed down. The mini-van is still in the intersection. Police car is barley out of the intersection. Conclusion: Neither vehicle was going very fast.
This started about the mayors tweet. It was 100% accurate. CASE CLOSED!!!

The first video shows no such thing. How fast was he going a block away and then how fast through the intersection? Was he applying his brakes at all? You have your opinion but the facts show otherwise.
What happens when you take a video of something coming at you. Does the object appear faster or slower than it is actually going?
