Farewell to El Al's 747 from NYC!

Flight attendants dressed in retro uniform.
Served free cocktails for all passenger. Hilarious captain/flight attendant description of the safety instructions and most other announcements. Overall very jolly atmosphere from most passengers.
Captain today was "not up to" having passengers enter the cockpit.
Gave out a few souvenirs toward the end of the flight and as they deplaned.

In reality this was known a week before, and everyone on this flight chose to be on the special flight, and no one traveled extra (actually everyone traveled extra, because people flew only for the reason to be on the last 747)

They added extra time to the flight plan when they made the flight back when.

Most likely - but at the same time I don't even think they have proper PR team etc in Israel

The seats were sold out within days. I was invited on-board these special flights as media. In fact, I think I was the only non Jewish or non Israeli passenger!
