What to do if you get an AMEX financial review

I just got an FR from AMEX and I couldn't find a post that layed out simply what one should do when getting an FR. (though I found a ton about what brings it on)
I don't make the amount they want me to be making and I need to send them back the tax forms on Monday.
Can anyone tell me what the best thing is for me to do?

It depends on how much u make compared to what u put down so if u give us some more information we may be able to help you

Experience has shown, if you have some 20K in income, you're best off cooperating with them and letting them see your tax returns. In all likelihood, they will leave your accounts open, just lower the credit limits.

I put down 48000 and I made about 10,000 last year on paper. (When I put it down I was counting the 15000 I get as a stipend from kollel and the  1000 a month i get from my parents, but none of that shows on paper)

are you serious? should I cancel the account? should I ask them to do anything? I think someone mentioned asking to close it but going on record as closed by consumer?

I have helped a number of people deal with FR's.
One person got FR'd, he said on apps he made 30K but in IRS forms he only reported 6. They gave him a 3K spending limit.

Another trick I have learned is that if you tell them you filed an extension on your tax returns, they only want your bank statments. Tell them you checked with your accountnat and he said he filed a six month extension. (That means he just finished them Oct. 14,) He just would have sent them in so they are not yet available. They will want your bank statments and if you have a average balance of around 5K, you should be fine.

I have a combined limit of $5K between a Blue and Starwood Business. They FR'ed me and after telling them I'm a student and didn't file taxes they said I should just send it bank statements of the account I use to pay the bills. My statements do not show a average balance of anywhere near 5K (more like $500) is that going to be a problem considering my combined credit limit is only $5K and I have a perfect history of on time payments?
(BTW I asked the what happens next and they said they'll review and possibly reduce the limits but when I asked if it's possible they'll close down the accounts they said no, is that true or only if my statements represent the $50,000 annual income I supposedly make?)
