Guess it's not first hand, but seems like a real experience.
Did he try moving the points to his TY Prestige account?
Seems inconclusive to me.

The end of the article explains if you don't have the other cards you are limited to Jet blue and one other transfer partner.

I just converted $10 Dc to 1000 TY points, and i then combined it with my Premier card, and it allows me to transfer it to all partners!
(i didn't do the actual transfer but the amount allowed to transfer includes the newly added DC points, unlike the Bank points)
If it benefits even just one fellow DDFer, its worth posting it.

That's great.
I'm assuming it also works for the 25% Premier bonus on airfare?

Yes
(I have needed to log out and log in again in order it should allow me to transfer also the newly added points.)

It seems like there are still technical issues with converting DC to TY.
I tried to convert another $50 to TY points and after submitting the request the error message showed up, the $50 are already deducted from my DC Rewards but its not added to my TY account...
I chatted with Citi online and they responded "We do have an ongoing issue with this conversion and we have noted this and forwarded to our technical team. Our technical team is working on this issue."
If it benefits even just one fellow DDFer, its worth posting it.

As someone with 90% non-USD spend, I hope yes  ;D

I currently use the Barclays Arrival Premier for general spend, but this would be far better.  But now with the Qantas Cap1 bonus (not to mention lower annual fee and more partners), it looks like they're a better pick.  The first $15K milestone bonus on the Premier merely serves to offset the AF.  They would not budge in waiving it.
Why don't you spend on Capital One Venture or Spark?

Because you get 1.25 for travel redemption with the citi premier. = 2.5cpd on travel.

25% is only for airfare, not travel.

Maybe you should have a citi card so you can check yourself.

Weird, why do they advertise "Points are Worth 25% More on Airfare 60,000 points are redeemable for $750 in airfare
on any airline, anytime with no blackout dates when booked at thankyou.com If you don't have enough points to cover all of your airfare, you can also use a combination of points and your Citi PremierSM Card."

Typical for Citi. They don't know their own product.

Why are no Marriotts, Hiltons or Hyatts showing?

Seems like Citi hotel pricing is higher than Chase pricing.
