Kosher food at newark airport

Just wanted to notify u guys, that I found some kosher turkey sandwiches and tuna sandwiches / wraps, egg salad wraps in ewr  at gate A21 (JetBlue) there's a little stand next to Hudson news, but beware as they sell kosher and no kosher sandwiches next to each other, the kosher ones are called fresko and has star-k hashgacha, and they were quite good!

There is Crumbs at  Terminal C between check points C-1 and C-2. (for those that don't have an "issue" with the Orthodox Kashruth Supervision Services ;))

You should probably know that "good" is relative. Unfortunately, what's good for the goose is not necessarily good for the gander...

There are people on both ends that will give you two opposite answers..not really sure what your gonna gain from that. I'd advise you to call your LOR and/or give Rabbi Cohen a call. Bear in mind that there is unfortunately an enormous amount of politics involved in the entire kashrus industry (not knocking anyone...just saying).

Doing some research as I may take a trip with a 4.5 hour layover in EWR.

-New Kosher Special says they'll delivery for free with a $40+ order.  I don't see a website or menu for this place (anyone have one?) but online reviews seem positive.
Update: Found a menu, might be hard to spend $40 as stuff seems pretty cheap!:

http://www.chinesemenu.com/us/elizabeth-nj-07202/new-kosher-special/

-Glatt Star says they'll deliver for $10 or so on $30+ orders or possibly free on a bigger order: http://www.njkosher.com/menuorder4.html

-Jerusalem Pizza says they'll only deliver on a really big order, approx $75 or so: http://www.jerusalem-pizza.com/html/our_menu.html

Anyone ever eat in those places before or know of other places that may deliver?  Or how much a taxi to those places may run?

Used to live in Glatt Star. Food is good, but might not be up to your foodie standard. They make great sushi, dunno if they do it for delivery, but they used to have a lunch sale before 3pm. Buy 2 get 1 roll free

don't know about Newark but you can take a train to Edison and there's many more options.

Taking (and figuring out) a train during the 2nd connection airport with a wife and kid after a red-eye and then figuring out what to do after getting off the train :o
Next best idea after New Coke and the AOL/Time Warner merger ;)

Actually, its not half bad. Being in Elizabeth, I get to eat around the EWR area a lot.
If your flying out of EWR, and are stuck in a situation, PM me and its possible I could help out with food or other problems.... :)
