I just saw sandwiches also recently. Gotta check to see what gates. It was by 2x ... I was pleasantly surprised.

All the terminal A shops keep getting moved around, the freshko sandwiches were at jamba juice last month but that was closed this week. Anyone know where they are now?

I was just in Newark on Weds and I read this post and sure enough in termial C at Marketfresh near gate 138 there are kosher sandwiches. I must say I was so happy to come across this thread! the sandwiches are nothing to drool over, BUT theyre kosher and pretty good for what youd expect. I also used United food vouchers to buy them bc they delayed my flight.

NKS makes darn good Sesame chicken with fried rice, egg rolls, and steamed dumplings. All for dirt cheap and free delivery to EWR.

I've sent dozens of people to order food from there while transiting EWR and everyone raves about it.
(And nobody understands how it can be so cheap)

Last time I had better Sesame chicken was at LAs Shalom Cuisine 8 years ago.

Didn't see discussion of this but I'm in the Art & Lounge (El Al's lounge though flying United) on the way to Israel and despite reports of Kosher food and a March NY Times article about it there are sandwiches with turkey and cheese and American Cheetos.

I don't know when the switch happened exactly but the employees here had no clue when I mentioned kosher. We took the AirTrain here from C and everything, talk about a disappointment!

Don't have time for NKS but hopefully there will be sandwiches in the C138 food court at market fresh.
