Nissan Altima To Keep Or Not To Keep
« on: September 24, 2019, 10:15:25 AM »
Currently driving a 2016 Altima very low mileage. My lease is over this month, my buyout would be only $12,600. This is for the model with remote start, which is a pretty good deal. I am hearing though that Nissans don’t last in the long run, anyone with experience either way? So far car drives well.

Had no issues with my 2011 Altima until I switched to TM3 last October.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thanks. Did you sell it? Was residual value ok? I also used to have an 08 Altima, I feel like the older models were made a bit better than the current ones...

@tzifanya54 if my calculation is correct you have 4 years until you will switch to the TM3 iyh @Dan lol

if you're happy with the vehicle, and it does have low mileage i will definitely  pay the buyout, as then you will be able to sell it in 1-2y or more for a profit (meaning the yearly cost to you will be less than another lease)

(pm your vin and the exact miles i will check the numbers for you)

Do they allow a 6 month extension of the lease? It gives u more time and lowers the buyout...

Check KBB.com to see how good of a deal you're getting.
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

kbb.com is not a realistic number, either too high or too low. I deal with that every day ...

Usually way too high.
