@Dan any source for amex pulling Return protection from all cards other than top-tier? DOC, View from the Wing, and TPG just mention purchase protection, nothing about return.

Me, too. Truth is, in my eyes, purchasing separate trip insurance is anyways almost always worth it, so it's not a big benefit to me, but losing RP on lower ends cards is tough.
