Turtle Island Fiji
« on: October 03, 2011, 03:38:23 PM »
Im new to this board so hopefully I'm doing this correctly.  I have a $6000 turtle island transferable travel voucher to be applied to a future turtle island vacation. At the time my finance and I were going to get married there. I paid for our deposit plus my family and friends deposits. Unfortunately, she got cold feet and left me holding the bag $6000 bag plus the other wedding deposits, I would have taken the trip but every time I thought of turtle island it brought up bad memories. Therefore, I would like to sell my voucher to anyone for $5000 or Best Offer. All transitions will be handled through paypal.com

very true.  My former fiance cost me money before and after the breakup.  It was the gift that keeps on giving.  Luckly I have been able to sell everything else associated with the wedding.  The turtle island trip is the last tie I have with her.

i wish you good luck selling it. it may be worth trying to sell it on ebay as most ppl here tend to vacation for close to free. And as previous posters have said i am sure it is her loss

Hi mr penny, sorry for her loss.

In the fiji islands, there are two turtles island.

Which one are you talking about?

I'm sure you prepared yourself, before going for the turtle.  Do you have any useful links.

the cost to stay at turtle island is a touch pricey.  A 7 night (pay for 5 get 2 nights free) stay is $12k and a 5 night (pay for 4 get 1 night free) is $8k.  Keep in mind that this is all inclusive (i.e., food, booze, etc).  Also, you would have to include airfare to get to fiji.  So, my voucher would get you a discount but does not cover the trip.  if you are interested contact Debbie (360-256-4347) she is the turtle island rep that could quote you prices.  Once you get a package worked we can talk.   I would be willing to drop my price to $4k to help with the trip costs.  That's a $6k voucher for $4k
