What do to with my Aspire card after 2nd AF? Convert/cancel?
« on: September 26, 2019, 09:49:40 PM »
My Aspire card used to be the Citi Hilton, and than no fee Amex Hilton and I upgraded to the Aspire card in around Feb 2019. I was charged partial AF in May 2019 which I paid and Now I am charged full $450 AF recently.

What should I do? Any credits or free night I can get again ?

What other Amex card can I convert this to? Can I cancel it to avoid the AF? Will they Claw back by Hilton points in my Hilton account? I already have the no fee Amex Hilton card and my wife has the Amex surpass card.
Thanks

I just had a chat with Amex agent and what I learnt is:

i was charged prorated $150 AF first in May 2019, it is a partial AF now in Sep I am charged full $450. Upgraded in march 2019. my card used to be the no fee hilton.
card anniversey is 08/2016, the rep said.

Do I get free night and airline credit again before i am charged another full $450 in Sep 2020?

Cancel or convert?
