What do you mean by porting a Golan US DID?

Do you mean the US DID that they give with the 99 Shekel plan?

That would be an interesting question, did you try asking Golan customer service about this? Maybe @ludmila might know something about porting DIDs.

I was able to port out my Golan Israeli number (which was frozen) to a DID provider. Usually porting Israeli cell phone numbers is a rather quick transaction, that needs to be approved with an SMS. Since my line was frozen, no SMS was sent, and the porting went through (took a few days). I then had to work with tech support to make sure it could receive SMS going forward, and now I have a functioning Israeli cell number which receives calls and SMS for $2 per month.
