Had Imperial Soft and it tasted like Absolut...I will have to give the others a try though.

Mind you Absolut (no e at the end, thought you were saying Absynthe for a second) isn't that bad (compared to Smirnoff, RS, etc). To be fair when I had Imperial Soft it was freezing cold so maybe that's why it went down so smoothly.

Call me crazy but I personally enjoy an ice cold shot of $20 or more Vodka over any expensive scotch...Hope all this talk helps juda with his Shabbos plans lol

Those two are scotch whiskeys.

Macallan is overrated IMHO, as a non-whiskey-drinker there are lots of other single malts I'd prefer (e.g. Tomintoul, Laphroaig, Glenmorangie, and others).

tomintoul is also one of my favorites and laphroaig is one of my least favorites. but how can you like a good vodka over a good scotch

The Laphroaig might have to do with the memories associated with drinking it ;)
