Yup. Pay $120 to check a bag or $115 to get a regular economy ticket that includes checked luggage, seat assignment and ability to change (for a fee).  ::)

Someone is doing some math. At the same time some people dont travel with check in luggage. I am guessing this dos not sound familiar to you, but some travel light.

You probably meant LY rather than EY.

Checked bag isn't the only benefit. And I actually quite often travel without checking bags. Though I find the cost of traveling Economy long-haul (in the toll it takes on my wellbeing and productivity)  is greater than the savings over taking those flights in J.

I know the free bag from AA cards is domestic only, but in the Delta Amex CC terms there is no mention of domestic only.
