Tepperberg sells the sweetest Moscato (IMHO). For Purim you should drink as dry as possible if you will be imbibing any large quantity.
Moscato is good for a woman who wants to feel part of the action on Purim.

I don't know that someone who never developed a taste for dry wine shouldn't be drinking sweet wine instead. It behooves those of us who know what we are doing to attempt not to make such a person sick by directing away from the sweeter ones.
Also, why would a woman want to feel part of the ... action, as you put it?

I'm not sure what your getting at. Someone asked about Moscato, you told them to stay away on Purim. +1
I added that if a woman, who generally don't enjoy dry wines, want to "feel part of the action" for whatever reason, she may enjoy a Moscato wine.

Correct. The frum world is a small circle compared to the world.

I know in E"Y, most Chareidi do not. In Lakewood i can be pretty sure that women are not drinking the heavier stuff.

Which places are you referring to that woman drink semi/dry wines regularly?

There are TONS of very regular yeshivish, chassidish, otherwise "chareidi" women who enjoy dry wines.

frum

Chareidi
Now that we got that out of the way

And you're still way off.
Maybe in communities where they refer to fine wines as
heavier stuff.

And for you sir, would you like a glass of kedem concord grape.

Frum= [also] Chareidi.

I do enjoy Kedem Grape Juice as well. Thank you very much. But for kiddush i prefer semi/dry :) Purim/Pesach as well.

Regarding Chareidim, they do make up a lot of the Frum world. And even in the non-Chareidi Frum world, not every woman likes wine, and those who do may not like semi/dry wines.

So lets do the math:
1/2 Frum women are Chareidi, lets say 20% enjoy wine and of those 1/2 like semi/dry=5% of Frum women
+ 1/2 Frum women are not Chareidi, lets say 43%(*) enjoy wine and of those 2/3 like semi/dry=14.5% Frum women
=19.5% of Frum Women like semi/dry
Not such a high number

No, I did not say to stay away from Moscato on Purim. I said:
 1. Better not to if you are drinking a lot,
 2. but if that is all you like, don't drink
    A. Brachetto
    B. Tepperberg brand
because they are both much sweeter, and the less sugar in your wine on Purim, the better you will feel a bit later.

I don't think anyone here thinks Moscato is the best wine to drink. However, I happen to like helping people do the best they can despite their limitations, so I offered some advice re: Moscato if they must.

Regarding everything else: who cares about statistics? Decisions like these should be person by person, and certainly not based on any generalizations. Can we just chill, please? It's ADAR!

Yup let's just make up numbers and run with them.
as i proposed to you before. tell me where you think im wrong.
do you disagree with my assumption on the Chareidim in E"Y? What about the Yeshivish crowd in Lakewood?
Where do you differ?
Regarding the numbers, what are you disagreeing about?

It's easy to wave your hand and live in your own little fantasy world, but if you think about it for 2 seconds you may come to a different conclusion.
