The correct answer is before the "first link".
Quote
Wines that are semi-dry are between 1.5 and 3% residual, and a wine between 3 and 5% are semi-sweet. A wine above 5% is considered sweet, and some can be VERY sweet.

Also, from my observations, what the US wines consider to be semi-sweet are usually considered sweet in Israeli wines, and the same is true up the spectrum - semi-dry-US = semi-sweet-IL, and some IL semi-dries are simply lighter dry wines in the US. But that was just my experience.

This year Purim, the star of my seudah was a Chateau Haut-Philippon. (Hechsher- Kedassia.) I also had a few cheaper ones, but this was the best. Bought it around Sukkos so I don't know how much it cost (probably around 100-140 shekel, as that is what I spend on the really good ones).

I prefer something smooth that actually tastes like wine and is sweet but not so sweet that it makes you sick. So, I drink Kedem Matuk Rouge Soft.

+1
When i sold wine in my younger years a lot of people ordered cases of those.
If i remember correctly, 1 size bottle was Mevushal and one was not, so if someone is having over guests who aren't Shomer Shabbos it pays to read the label before buying.

I don't want something very dry and have never tried a semi sweet for the Seder I wonder if something like Jeunesse would be bad for the seder

4 cups of concord grape or of Malaga is for the elte zaida who bites directly into a whole horseradish root.

Just for clarification.

You don't want something very dry but have never tried a semi-sweet. So what have you drunk in the past? Grape Juice? Or dry even though you didn't want to?

Is this for you or others? If its for others why not just simply ask them what they like?

Why would Jeunesse be bad for the seder? Taste or alcoholic content?

Large one is not mevushal. As a general rule for all Kedem wines: small = mevushal, lg = non-mevushal. (The opposite for Farbregen - small = not mevushal, lg = mevushal). Or so it has been for all these years, unless it changed recently.

I don't want something very dry and have never tried a semi sweet for the Seder I wonder if something like Jeunesse would be bad for the seder
Jeunesse is not as sweet as Matuk Rouge, and as far as I can recall it isn't as light (except for maybe the Pink Moscato). If, for instance, I couldn't find Matuk Rouge in stores, I would happily use Juenesse, or at least I would have a few years ago. Maybe these days, I would find a straight dry that goes down smooth so I could drink non-mevushal.

There are so many VERY light dry wines that are very easy to drink.

A (great!) homemade wine
For me
It tastes pretty sweet, I assume it's fine for the Seder just never tried it.

I'm traveling this year and will try to take some homemade with me, but if not I think I'm going to go with Jeunesse.
Any tips for packing wine?

One year on merkos shlichus, my chavrusah and I had 4 cups of black muscot when doing our person seder after the main one.

We didn't get trashed but lets just say that 4 cups one after another did make us very joyous (and still have great memories for that walk back to our lodgings).

Megillah case.  :P
Agav, I somehow have a Jeunesse-brand sleeve for packing two bottles of wine. (When I go away, I usually use one side for wine for my host and the other side for my wife's neros Shabbos holder and tea lights.) Not sure where to get one - I think my father brought it for Pesach when he came a few years ago and then left it with me.
