Bartenura makes something called Asti which is much nicer then the regular blue bottle.
Nicer bottle ? Or better taste ? I'm pretty sure blue bottle tastes better if I remember correctly.

Well it's all preference obviously. Meanwhile I'm looking for something a bit different.

Going to a birthday party/lunch this Shabbos in Israel.  I  got all the wines picked up but the birthday lady herself likes Moscato. Can anyone recommend a nice one?
Something besides Bartenura.  Thanks.
I doubt you'll find something better, they made a red version you can try or Joyvin red is a similar category I think. (Could be Bartenura Malvasia I'm thinking of)

btw a heads up, only 20 spots left in the Hajdu club / guild for fall releases Montpluciano and Terdalgo.

I tell people to join the club, they scoff, they drink one of the club wines and beg me to sell them some ugh.

Something besides Bartenura.  Thanks.

For next year's bday, try Teperberg's Moscato.

Truth in labeling. Canadians and their wine monopoly.
Fair warning - Any PMs sent in response to forum posts are fair game for ridicule in public.

Don't know or care anything about any monopoly.

The issue with the letter is the statement of:
Quote
CFIA further advised that the Government of Canada does not recognize Israel's sovereignty over the territories occupied in 1967 (the Golan Heights, the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip).

The issue with the letter is the statement of:
Its a statement of fact. The world together with the Canadian Government does not recognize Israeli sovereignty over those areas. Why does this surprise you. The Canadian wine regulator requires truth in labeling. The distributor discovered that these wines are not in compliance with the regulations. The wines are produced in occupied territories according to Canadian Government standards.

You can buy these in Duty free for $36 a bottle if you buy 4
Just bought Segal Unfiltered at $51.90 in Duty Free, seem to recall them being cheaper a few months ago.
